Dashboard Template helps user to create and manage dashboards by template-based. The configured dashboard template to be used on the Dashboard entity for efficiency improvement during dashboard generation.

For example, there are five pump assets with the same set of dashboard widgets and designs that need to be generated. User can create a pump dashboard template, and then deploy it during pump dashboard generation. The created pump dashboard is auto-added with the same set of dashboard widgets and designs instead of adding them one by one and adjusting the dashboard layout again manually.

To configure the dashboard template, the markup datasources is required to represent the asset datasource instance in dashboard instance.
